Public-Private Partnership

The support needed to make the vision of the United States Diplomacy Center a reality is based on a public-private partnership. The Department of State has committed to provide the following tangible elements of public-sector support:

  • The land for, and maintenance of, the new, glass, entrance
Pavilion, and two interior exhibition halls within the Harry S
    Truman Building
  • The historic, marble-clad, Art-Deco lobby that connects the
    Pavilion with the interior halls
  • Security staff and equipment for the museum and education center

The private sector is committed to provide the financial support for:

  • Design and construction of the Pavilion and renovation of the two interior halls
  • Exhibit design, fabrication and installation in the three halls
  • Educational programs, special programs, conferences, and forums
  • An endowment and campaign expenses
