The support needed to make the vision of the United States Diplomacy Center a reality is based on a public-private partnership. The Department of State has committed to provide the following tangible elements of public-sector support:
- The land for, and maintenance of, the new, glass, entrance
Pavilion, and two interior exhibition halls within the Harry S
Truman Building - The historic, marble-clad, Art-Deco lobby that connects the
Pavilion with the interior halls - Security staff and equipment for the museum and education center
The private sector is committed to provide the financial support for:
- Design and construction of the Pavilion and renovation of the two interior halls
- Exhibit design, fabrication and installation in the three halls
- Educational programs, special programs, conferences, and forums
- An endowment and campaign expenses
